It turned out to look just like the box. All in all it was a great couple of weeks and all the cakes were awesome

Mother's Day cake

This is the Mother's Day cake I made for myself!! I wanted to try covering a cake with flowers and it turned out to be the prettiest cake I have made so far. It is a two tiered two layer cake, 9 and 6 inch round with white fondant and daisy. I loved how it turned out.

Military cake and birthday cake

These are the 2 lastest cakes I made. The first one was for a going away party for someone who worked on Humvee. I dupicated the logo in fondant and then spent hours putting on all the works. It turned out great.
The other was a small birthday cake for a client who turned 79. It was just a simple cake with lot of color.

Turtle cheesecake and more sugar cookies

Like I said in my previous blog, I can't make enough sugar cookies. I sell them for $10 a dozen and they go fact. Tennis balls for a preschool, more Easter bunnies and stars for a school treat.
Then there is the cheesecake. That was for my 12 year olds birthday. He loves cheesecake and this is the best one ever. It has a cookie crust, then caramel on top of the crust, then the cheesecake, then more caramel and last more chocolate. I usually but pecans or walnuts on top, but he doesn't like them. Oh, It is sooooo good.

Birthday and Easter cake and more sugar cookies

More and More cookies, of course, these were for Easter. The chocolate cookies are actually chocolate sugar cookies with a Butter cream glaze.
I made the Easter cake for a customer, which turned out very cute and the Birthday cake, which was awesome. It is covered with chocolate fondant, which is very tasty and the bottom cake is strawberry, which the customer loved. I think it turned out so cute.

Doughnuts and cookies

I haven't put much on the blog in a while, I have been very busy baking. Here are some of the things I have been doing. The Shamrock cookies for St. Patricks Day, then the best chocolate chip cookies you will every have and then homemade doughnuts. The sugar cookies are $10.00 a dozen and I can't make enough of them. They are my biggest seller.
