Turtle cheesecake and more sugar cookies

Like I said in my previous blog, I can't make enough sugar cookies. I sell them for $10 a dozen and they go fact. Tennis balls for a preschool, more Easter bunnies and stars for a school treat.
Then there is the cheesecake. That was for my 12 year olds birthday. He loves cheesecake and this is the best one ever. It has a cookie crust, then caramel on top of the crust, then the cheesecake, then more caramel and last more chocolate. I usually but pecans or walnuts on top, but he doesn't like them. Oh, It is sooooo good.

Birthday and Easter cake and more sugar cookies

More and More cookies, of course, these were for Easter. The chocolate cookies are actually chocolate sugar cookies with a Butter cream glaze.
I made the Easter cake for a customer, which turned out very cute and the Birthday cake, which was awesome. It is covered with chocolate fondant, which is very tasty and the bottom cake is strawberry, which the customer loved. I think it turned out so cute.

Doughnuts and cookies

I haven't put much on the blog in a while, I have been very busy baking. Here are some of the things I have been doing. The Shamrock cookies for St. Patricks Day, then the best chocolate chip cookies you will every have and then homemade doughnuts. The sugar cookies are $10.00 a dozen and I can't make enough of them. They are my biggest seller.

First Birthday

This was my favorite cake to make so far. It was a little man's first birthday. The cake turned out so cute. The blue cake is a marble cake covered in butter cream frosting with fondant covering the entire cake. The cake sizes are an 8 and 6 inch round 2 layer cakes. The yellow cake was his cake to eat. It was a 4 inch round chocolate cake and the number 1 was made from fondant so he could have eaten that too. It was so cute.

Transformer birthday cake

This was a cake I made for a young boys 5th birthday. It was a 10 x10 inch square 2 layer white cake. It was covered with buttercream frosting and then fondant. It turned out just adorable and he loved it. It took me about 4 days to do all the transformers head. There are 12 black ones that go along the edge of the cake. Again, in this cake the black is chocolate fondant.

Hockey cake

Hi everyone. It has been a few weeks since I have added pictures, but I have been busy. This is a picture of a cake I made for my sons hockey party. It is 2 9 x13 cakes next to each other with 16 individual hockey puck cakes. The cake is half chocolate and half yellow and the pucks are either chocolate or white cake. All are frosted with buttercream frosting and topped with fondant. The black fondant is actually chocolate, which is very tasty. I made the logo from the jersey by hand and it took me about a week. There were many layers to the logo. It was a great success and I had a great time making it.
